Data use is tiny: usually under 1 GB a month, even when you're checking in hourly.

If your trailers and plant range well beyond the home farm — across counties or into Europe on hire work — choose a SIM with solid roaming coverage. Some units run dual SIMs and switch networks automatically if one drops out, which is worth having for high-value kit parked on remote, patchy-signal sites.

Will a thief just find the tracker and bin it?

How often will it tell me where my kit is?

Will it still track if the trailer is towed off abroad?

What about kit that isn't steel?
